MgA. Vojtěch Spurný

Vojtěch Spurný – dirigent, jako asistent režiséra a dirigenta spolupracoval mj. s Bohumilem Gregorem, Davidem Radokem (Národní divadlo v Praze) či Arnoldem Östmanem (Zámecké divadlo v Drottningholmu). V sezoně 1996/1997 v Göteborgu nastudoval a dirigoval Rossiniho operu Cesta do Remeše, která byla kritikou označena za jednu z nejlepších inscenací posledních dvaceti let. V červnu 1998 spoluinscenoval s režisérem J. A. Pitínským Purcellovu operu Dido a Aeneas v plzeňském divadle (se souborem Musica Solutaris), která byla kritikou vyhlášena inscenací roku 1998. V sezoně 2000/2001 nastudoval v Göteborské opeře Rossiniho Lazebníka sevillského. V letech 1999-2004 byl Vojtěch Spurný stálým dirigentem Státní opery Praha. V sezoně 2002/2003 zde zastával funkci uměleckého šéfa a dnes je v tomto divadle stálým hostujícím dirigentem. Průběžně pracuje na nahrávce kompletního ročníku Telemannových kantát pro Český rozhlas. Trvale spolupracuje s Českou komorní filharmonií. Od roku 1991 působí každoročně na mistrovských kurzech Ticino Musica ve Švýcarsku (cembalo, klavírní spolupráce, operní kurz, vedení operního studia). Jako klavírista se po boku mezzosopranistky Dagmar Peckové zúčastnil mistrovských kurzů v rámci Schleswig-Holstein Musikfestival. Od 1. listopadu 2018 zastává funkci šéfdirigenta v opavské opeře.

  Vojtěch Spurný – conductor. As an dssistant director and assistant conductor he collaborated with David Radok, Bohumil Gregor (National Theatre in Prague) or Arnold Östman (Drottningholm Palace Theatre) among others. During the season of 1996/1997 in Gothenburg he conducted Rossini’s opera Il viaggio a Reims (the Journey to Reims), which critics proclaimed to be one of the best productions of the last twenty years. In June 1998 he collaborated with Director J. A. Pitínský on Purcell’s opera Dido and Aeneas in the Pilsen Theatre (with the company Musica Solutaris), which was by critics proclaimed to be the best production of 1998. In the 2000/2001 season he staged Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia (the Barber of Seville) in the Gothenburg Opera. In the years 1999-2004  Vojtěch Spurný was the permanent conductor of the Prague State Opera. In the 2002/2003 season he served as an artistic director and more recently he serves as a guest conductor there. Furthermore, he continuously keeps working on recording the complete edition of Telemann’s Cantatas for the Czech Radio. He permanently cooperates with the Czech Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra. Since 1991 he annually works at the Ticino Musica masterclasses in Switzerland (harpsichord, piano collaboration, opera courses, conducting of an opera studio). As a pianist accompanying the mezzo-soprano singer Dagmar Pecková he attended master courses as a part of the Schleswig-Holstein Musikfestival. Since 1. November 2018 he holds the position of chief conductor in the Silesian Theatre of Opava opera.
